Lisa-Marie is the Saxophone tutor at Mayzmusik.
She started playing at the age of 13 and still holds the world record for the highest pass mark at grade 5 at 98%.
Lisa-Marie specialises in Jazz sax, having played in Jazz bands for nearly 10 years performing at a huge range of venues, including

- Ronnie Scotts Club in Soho
Lessons
Saxophone lessons at Mayzmusik are very popular, and students can play for pleasure or follow the exam syllabuses. Music exams have progressed a great deal in the last five years, and the launch of the ABRSM Jazz Sax Syllabus has been incredibly poular.
There are many ranges of books on the market with playalong CD's so that the soloist can get the feel of performing with a live band. Styles vary from Rock, Pop & Jazz to film themes & folk songs. Many students then go on to use these Backing Track Books when they start performing in their own right!
