Ty Hafan Childrens Hospice
Ty Hafan is the only Children`s Hospice in Wales. They provide respite care, paliative care and after-life care for over 300 families in Wales. They need over £2.3 Million just to function and they rely entirely on voluntary contributions. Awareness of the charity is paramount to the fundraising that they do throughout the year, and the concerts, auctions charity events and the publicity that accompanies them helps to do just that.
Mayzmusik's Involvement
Mayzmusik staff have been sponsoring Ty Hafan for over a decade, and have been organising fundraising events in Abergavenny with local bands & artistes.To celebrate the company's 5th Anniversary in 2005, Mayzmusik organised a grand concert with local Elvis Tribute Act "Elvis & The Memphis Mafia with the Sweet Inpsirations" at Abergavenny Borough Theatre. Over £3,500 was raised on the evening.
Mayzmusik continues to support Ty Hafan, orgainising regular fundraising events & by involving the local press to raise the profile of the chrity within the community.
